5 Reasons to Go to Your Graduation Ball

To get dressed up

Come on, it isn’t very often that you can get all glammed up in your finest gear, now, is it? Lads can get suited and booted rocking their bow ties and waistcoats, whilst the ladies have the opportunity to dress like princesses for a night in their tasteful evening gowns. This is your chance to show your uni mates that you can actually scrub up pretty well, as opposed to just throwing on any old t-shirt and jeans for an early morning seminar.

To celebrate your achievements

You have just endured (probably) the toughest and stressful stage of your life to date, so isn’t it only fair that you reward yourself with something nice after all of that hard graft? You know it makes sense! You can relax and unwind without a care in the world – deadlines reached and assignments conquered, all that is left to concentrate on is drinking, eating and dancing!

To mark the end of an era

Three years have just flown by, right? All those exams, assignments and presentations, done and dusted! No more seminars or theory books for you – and don’t it feel great? But at the same time, you have spent a substantial chunk of your life at university, and with your graduation comes the completion of your education. It may seem like a massive relief now, but you never know – you could look back in a few years’ time and it will hit hard just how much you miss it. Finish your uni journey in style, with a night of glitz and glam – surely you owe that to yourself?

To say a final goodbye

Get your lot together because this may be the last time you ever see them again. Dramatic it may seem, but true. Off venturing in the big wide world to pursue their dream careers, their ambitions may lead them in completely different directions. Use this event to bring your uni pals together for the last time – you may regret not going if you look back and are hit with a sudden rush of nostalgia!

To have fun

University is stressful, there’s no doubt about that. Your graduation ball acts as the exact opposite – an evening of fun and relaxation. So, what are you waiting for? Get those tickets booked, the seating plan sorted, your outfit purchased and your camera at the ready, because, Cinderellas (and Prince Charmings), you really should go to the ball!
