This book actually made me laugh out loud. It also made me smirk,
titter, frown and smile. Why? Because it is actually like a sitcom IN A BOOK.
And that is quite something.
To be honest, I don’t usually laugh at comedians on the telly – I am
not easily amused at all. So the fact that this book actually made me chuckle proves just how smashing it really
is.
If you are familiar with comedy queen klutz Miranda Hart then you will
already know she is a socially awkward, burbling giant of a woman who manages
to get herself in all sorts of hilarious situations.
Is It Just Me? Is a sort of guide of how not to act in specific social scenarios. Using her undoubtedly
exaggerated personal experiences, Miranda discusses the ups and downs of life
in a very succinct and hilarious manner.
Expect made up words, embarrassing moments and a lot of immature fun.
I challenge you not to crack a smile whilst simply reading the first chapter –
it really will prove quite a task!
Conclusion: Incredibly easy to
follow, hugely entertaining and actually very funny. Give it a read and it will
definitely add a touch of sunshine into your life with its comical anecdotes
and lively humour.
